christmas with my side of the family

matt and i got home last night from a week in florida. we went over christmas and hung out with my family! we surprised everyone again! :-)that is so much fun! thursday night, we were able to go out with all our friends in FL and celebrate a birthday (rob's). matt and the boys even got to play golf on friday, my sister took a half day at work and her and i did some shopping! which is ALWAYS a good time! we had an awesome christmas spending time with family. brandons sister (holly)and her children (hayden and jack) were in from colorado. and brandons mom and grandma were up from sarasota as well, so there was a house full! we also went and played frisbe golf one afternoon as well! matt got me my own frisbes for christmans, but i still need lots of practice! my throwing arm hurt for DAYS after we played! christmas eve afternoon, we spent some time in the hot tub...ahh, the joys of living in FL!:-) christmas morning was great! 3 children under the age of 3 1/2 and 8 adults.....it took us a little over 3 hours to get through all the gifts!!!!:-) kids are so much fun at christmas time! the christmas meal was spectacular! we all chipped in and did a job, but of course brandon was the "leader" and he is such an awesome cook! and he is also the reason why i gain 10 lbs every time i am there!:-( now we are home, and its back to the real life, work, cleaning, and all that fun stuff! matt and i both hope you all had a very merry christmas and look forward to spending 2008 with you all making more great memories!
