sunday, we decided to take another "scenic route" home...this time we went through st. genevieve, MO and took the ferry across the mississippi river to IL. i had never done this before...now, for some reason, when i was told "ferry" i was thinking FERRY! you know, like in the movies...the BIG boat with layers and layers of cars?!?!?

well, needless to say, when i saw our "ferry"...i got scared (and may have started to cry)....here was this little tug boat, pushing this little platform across the mighty mississippi river...and i swear i heard this "ferry" saying to itself "i think i can, i think i can"....


our "ferry", can you see it? it is making its way back to our side of the river...
here it is...can you see the ONE car on it! "i think i can, i think i can"
a little freaked out at the moment....and matt thinks its funny...
the other side....hurry up Il and get to me!
