cardinals game in chicago

so two weekends ago a group of us went to chicago for the weekend. matt (and15 other bowlers) bowled in a tournament saturday night.
me and several other wives played cheerleader! i dont bowl, and never even PRETEND to be a bowler!:-)
then sunday 8 of us went to our friends apartment (scotty) on the north side of chicago...and went down to wrigley field to catch the sunday night espn game of the week between the cardinals and the cubs...
we had a blast....sat in the front row of the bleachers. the bleachers are first come first serve...and matt and his bff frank went to the stadium and got into the bleacher line at NOON! the game wasnt until 7PM...

after the game, we went out to a bar near scottys apartment, called "the spot"...cause more drinks is what we needed!

heres is loopy drinking beer out of a BOOT! it held 8 pints of beer! i think we figured it held roughly A GALLON of beer! geesh!!!!!

we all had a great weekend! the weather was beautiful! the friends were fantastic...the only thing we could have asked for is a win for our beloved cardinals team!!!
