welcome to president obama and your family. today was a day that will go down in the history books...and i watched it all unfold on NBC! i just hope that you can live up to all the HIGH expectations everyone is putting on your shoulders...i know you sure will try.

today, i am taking my christmas tree down! i know, its almost the end of january...but i just like my tree so much. i have the lights on a timer, and they come on around 5:15PM and go off at about 1AM. we just love sitting in the living room at night, with just the christmas tree lights on and a dim light in the corner, watching tv...the trees so pretty i havent wanted to take it down...but the time has come, and since i work thurs, fri, sat and sun...if i didnt do it today...it wouldnt get done until NEXT week...and then what would you all think of me?!?!?! so, matts at school, and im taking the ornaments off the tree, and i find a GIFT! in the MIDDLE of the TREE! a lone forgotten gift! so i text matt and tell him i found it and ask to open it....and its this!

i watch ellen every chance i get. i just LOVE her! she just cracks me up!!!! george clooney has an office next to were she tapes her show and she has been trying FOREVER to get him to come over...yesterday, she finally got him to come! she had two of his favorite reds baseball players lure him out! it was great! her "george clooney is mine in '09" campaign paid off!

Thank you for the play by play while I was driving home. I missed the first 'get out of the submarine on wheels walk' but didn't miss the second one.. I think any person wanting to take on that job right now is crazy.. may the Lord be with you.. (lol) and good luck! We are all on your side!
And I just put my tree away yesterday.. vacuumed it all up today - but no surprises for me..
