waiting in the line at the boarder....
welcome to canada!
with my awesome navigational skills and matts spectacular driving skills and sense of direction, we make it towards the falls...and all the touristy stuff.
first thing is first, we need to find internet so we can get on price line and find a hotel for this evening.....we drive from hotel parking lot to hotel parking lot until we find a hotel with
1) a strong enough WIFI connection that we get a signal for our lap top while in the car and
2) one that the WIFI is not pass word protected!
as soon as we are able to connect (after driving for about 30-45 minutes), we connect to price line and start our search for a hotel.....about an hour later we finally have one booked!
a courtyard marriott. bingo!
the front desk said we didnt have a "falls view" but when we got up to our room....we were pleasantly surprised by this! we could see the mist from the horse shoe falls and the niagara river that leads into the falls! if only those trees werent there!

it was a delicious dinner....
then we walked down into the "entertainment and dinning district, clifton hills
oh my gosh! this street was insane! matt said it looked a lot like las vegas...all the neon lights, tons of people, and tourist attractions....a wax museum, huge ferris wheel, putt putt, bowling alley, fortune teller, Ripley's believe it or not, guinness book of world records, and on and on.....you get the idea!
a wax figure of heath ledger as the joker....i had to take a double take!
