florida trip in september....

first i want to say welcome to my 2 new followers!!!!! (im almost to double digets now!). ive known them both since grade school/high school and have reconnected with them through facebook...i hope you 2 enjoy the blog!

and i have 2 milestones i want to acknowledge....

first, i apparently missed my blogaversary this weekend....whoops! so happy 2nd blogaversary to me!

and i have had 5,000 visitors! to my site!!!! yahoo!!! wow-weee thats a lot! i just want to say thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by my little slice of the world!:-)

ok....now onto florida!...

after we had a short visit in arkansas....we headed to florida for some fun in the sun! with my mom, my sister, her hubby, and 2 precious kiddos....

we were very busy the week we were there....my sister had me (and her) going every night!

i had brought my pictures down to her house and my photo albums, with every intention for us both to work on getting our pictures INTO our albums because apparently we BOTH are very far behind in this task...but needless to say, my pictures and ablums NEVER MADE IT OUT OF THE TRUNK! the entire weeek we were there! lol....

our week consisted of a jewelry party, brodys soccer practice, going out to dinner, having fun at the down-town-get-down and FSU football game, brodys soccer game, and a baby shower....

and i enjoyed every minute of it! it was nice to hang with my sister...and her awesome group of friends!

she had just started a new job, so couldnt take and time off work (bummer)....but thats when i got to just RELAX and lay by her pool! every day while she was a work! i know..."bummer"for her!;-).....

here, brody is going across the monkey bars ALL BY HIMSELF! he is sooo proud!

there was a home FSU football game while we were down there. and we were able to score 2 tickets to go. after a few hours of tailgaiting....in we went! the weatherwas C>R>A>Z>Y! it was very hot and humid!....we all were sweaty pigs...kind-of gross! then, for about 15 minutes, the clouds came and it rained on us... my sister had left the game at half time (FSU was losing pretty bad), and when it rained, she had text me and asked if i was "all wet now"...my reply was "ive been wet this entire game...sweat, rain, whatever!".... although, FSU lost, it was fun to be there and be a part of a college football game!

after the game, back to the tail gate we went...and we had a surprise waiting for us! my sister and one of her close friends had bought us a cupcake cake...in honor of our bundle-to-be! how sweet! my first shower...well, not really a shower, just a cake! it was very yummmy! and decorated with yellow...my favorite color!

they also bought me a sash that read, "mommy to be"...thank you cindy and barbie...for thinking of me and my "bump"!

we were supposed to leave on monday, because matt had to work on tuesday...so on monday, we packed everything up and loaded it into the car and were saying our goodbyes (tear) and matt got a call that he had been cancelled for tuesday and didnt have to come in! yahooo! so, we decided to stay JUST ONE MORE DAY...we unpacked our suitcases...and were thankful for one more day! we even surprised my mom, brandon (my bro-in-law) invited her over for a WONDERFUL steak dinner monday night...and SURPRISE, we were still there!:-)

sadly, tuesday came...and we had to leave....

it was a GREAT trip...as usual! i just love visiting my family...we always have so much fun! and with the baby coming, we are not sure how often we will be able to get down there from now on...
