feb 1: shes always nice and wide awake after feeds. i cant believe shes 12 days old! oh, and her umbilical cord finally fell off tonight! she also went back to the pediatrician today for a weight check...6lbs 6oz...only up an ounce from last week:-( and not back to birth weight. dr. w is giving us one more week, if shes not back up to birth weight by next week, shes gonna have me start supplementing after breast feeding with formula. so we have a week to fatten little miss finley up!....cross your fingers!

sweetie everyone i know that had a baby that nursed..the ALL lost weight or only gained an ounce the first few weeks...but then it picked up!!! I hope its the same case for you...my sis n law had to pump like 45212548 times a day to build up her supply...not her freezer supply, her baby feeding supply...
