july 4th weekend....part 1

we hope you all had a GREAt fourth of july weekend!

we sure did!

we did a lot of stuff, matter of fact, today (july 4th) we left the house at 930 am...and just got home at about 11pm!

ive got so many pictures...i am going to divide the weekend into two posts!@ so you dont get overwhelmed!

and im tired tonight....so i think i can only do saturday!...

i worked friday night...so i slept some saturday, but got up earlier than normal to hang with matt and finley.

hunky hubby cooked AWESOME burgers on the grill (thanks hunky...YOU ROCK!)...while finley and i relaxed in the hammock...

then we decided to walk down to our town's park where they were going to have a fireworks show (we didnt want to fight the st louis crowd). we live close to the park, it was nice weather, and we didnt want to get stuck in traffic trying to enter and leave the park...the walk was very nice...

finley wanted to show her fourth of july spirit......

and then of course she wanted to put a bow on...and take another picture!:-) (maybe that was me that wanted to have a picture with a bow?!?!?)

we are waiting for the fireworks to start...and finley is wondering why daddy has his eyes closed...

THE FIREWORKS START!

i was afraid she would be scared of the loud noise...she wasnt! she just sat there and stared, WIDE eyed!

she had her own personal recliner for the fireworks@ her daddy.....

life is good!
