indian summer

ive been looking and looking for a cute stocking cap for finley for the winter, and i just couldnt find any that really impressed me....or any that i wanted to spend that kind of money on...

when my dad and step mom came to visit a few weeks ago....
imagine my delight when linda pulled out MaNy HOMEMADE hats for finely!
all different colors....and EXACTLY what i had been looking all over for! (i told you she was crafty!)
so now finley sports her hats in the chilly mornings, while she plays....until she realizes it is on her head and promptly pulls it off.....to play with it! (along with the socks she undoubtedly has pulled off as well!)
she just loves the little puff ball on them, she touches it and then looks and us with a huge smile!

and look what big girl does now....
pulling herself up to her knees to play with toys....
she also can go from laying down to sitting up.....i found this out the other morning when i went to get her, and she greeting me sitting up with a smile!!!!

the past few days here in the mid west have been gorgeous! im talking mid 70's for a high folks! so weve been getting a lot of fresh air and sun shine....before we have to hibernate for winter...

weve played in the back yard....gone for walks around the neighborhood.....and spent some time in our favorite hammock!
