croup

ive worked the past three nights, and now am on vacation and dont go back to work until jan 5!!!
yay me!
finley hasnt been feeling well the last few days, but we just thought it was that pesky 4th tooth that poked just a corner through...
matt called me at work at 0315 last night telling me that finley had a temp, was coughing, and making noises when she breathed....and i could hear her over the phone! i told him that he needed to call the pediatrician's exchange but he would probably be bringing her to the ER....
sure enough, the exchange told him to take her to the ER...they were only there for a little over an hour (thank goodness....you know how hospital ER's can be!)....and the diagnosis.....

CROUP!

a viral infection that just basically has to run its course. they gave her some oral steroids, she didnt need a breathing treatment...and they were done! i am thankful thats all it is....but boy does she sound so sad! and she just wants to be held....so weve been doing a lot of this....

i have so much to get done....blogging being one thing on my "list"...but so is wrapping presents...and since wrapping presents has a deadline (that is quickly approaching)...i best leave the blogging to another time.....
but in the meantime....heres a sneak peak at finleys 11 month post! she turned 11 months old this past monday!
