santa!

this past weekend we took finley to see santa....
at my bffs work, santa was coming, and we could go and have pictures with him...all we had to do was bring an unwrapped toy or can goods...
i jumped all over that! i really wasnt too thrilled about going to the "mall santa", just to pay 20$ for one picture of my baby and santa....
at this place, it was free (besides the canned goods or toy that goes to a good cause) and they took like 10 pictures of finley and santa, printed 2 of them out right there for me....and then emailed me the 3 best ones, so now i have them to email, print, and blog!
good deal huh!!!!

so we bundled up...and headed to see santa....

we thought FOR SURE finley would cry at the sight of him....she really isnt fond of men, especially if they have facial hair.....

i knew the girl that was taking the pictures, so i warned her of the upcoming screams she would hear, and she was ready to quickly snap pictures....

HA! finley made liars out of us!
she didnt even get scared@ she just looked at him like..."huh...you are different"...

then she looked at us like...."who is this guy? do you know him? should i know him?"

then she actually SMILED at him!!!!!! yay finely (she knows who to schmooze!)

if you notice, she has her hand in his beard the entire time....the only explanation i have for that is that she loves my long hair and is always running her fingers though it, her hands in it, grabbing it and putting it in her mouth...so maybe she was like "hey, this guy has long soft hair like my mommas! i think i like him!@"
so, first year with santa was a success......and i am very happy!

i have to apologize for being such a slacker blogger lately, i havent had time to blog...i havent had time to check out your blogs....im just feeling very overwhelmed right now, with the holidays...christmas cards, shopping, working, and the list goes on....so please forgive me, i havent forgotten about any of you....i promise i will be a better blogger and follower...just as soon as the holidays are over....oh, yea, then i have a first party to plan.....
