snow!

we had our first snow of the season this past sunday.......
and of course, a first for finley!
it went a little like this!

me....wake up at but crack of dawn because my girl did too...walk out to dinning room and to my surprise, there is snow covering the ground (i dont ever believe the weather people, especially when they say we are going to get snow, 9 times outta 10, we dont!)...

oh CR!&, grab the camera! weve got to get this "first" for finley...

i took her to the back door, and she just kept pointing and saying "ooooooooowwwwwww", then looking at me and smiling!

my attempt at a picture of the two of us with the snow behind us...FAIL!

since we both were in our pjs....i decided i would just set her on our back porch....

so i got a plastic shopping bag (im so smart!) to set her onto it...grab my camera....and set her down! heres how it went down...

#1: she was fine...kept looking around and still saying "oooowwwww"

#2:she put her right hand down into the snow...

#3:a few seconds later she realized that this dang stuff is cold...and started to fuss

#4: now shes crying, and reaching for me to get her outta this crazy cold CR!%!

#5: "put that dang camera down and get me mama"...as i continue to snap pictures, and she continues to reach and lean for me WITHOUT putting her hands back down!

#6: "please mama, my hand is cold, and its windy out here. im done playing in the snow"

so after i snapped my pictures, i rescued my child.....and she was happy again....pointing and "oooowwwwww"ing at the snow safe and warm in my arms!

she spent the rest of the morning playing in her hat!
