first, the stockings...hung on the mantel and filled to the brim...
i ordered finleys stocking from the web and am in love with it!
so we helped her open her gifts....and she got the hang of tearing the paper....and climbing on the boxes...and pulling things out of the boxes....and licking her gifts!....it looked like the wrapping paper factory exploded in our living room!
the snow was so pretty on the tree limbs...
she had a fever all day, i pumped her full of tylenol every 4 hours, her nose wouldnt stop running, she was coughing, whiny, clinging, slept a lot....and was just plain pathetic....
i felt so bad for her....
i even changed her into her outfit i had picked out....
out of the 115 pictures i took (yes, i took 115)...these were the only 3 that are semi with a smile...
but the first one i chopped off half her head and she has snot wet spots on her onsie...
the second one has a smile, but she is blurry...
no smile on the 3rd one....but no frown either....but theres that dang snot waterfall!
geesh....all i wanted was a picture of my sweet baby on her first christmas....
which i guess i did get....
but i wish she were smiling (thats not too much is it?)
oh well, we will try again next year....
christmas + sick baby = very tired mama and daddy!

truly, we did....i just wish finley would have felt better...
it sucks when your baby is sick!

It might of not been the PERFECT one you had hope for.. but you made it your own and although you might of only gotten 3 good ones.. it's a great memory of the first time she got sick.. not to shaby for a 11mo old :)
I enjoyed the photos smile or not.. and full of snot :)
