i am still here!

boy its been a while since i blogged....and each day i get further behind. ugg! maybe i will never get caught up?
lets finish up summer....
danika had fun sharing a sandwich with grandpa (or any other food anyone happened to have!)
finley loved swimming in grandma and grandpas pool! and JUMPING OFF THE DIVING BOARD INTO THE DEEP END! (gave me a heart attack....but she had fun! time and time again!)
and of course they love playing with daddy...otherwise known as the human jungle gym!

 

we played a lot outside in our GReat back yard!
the both love the swing and learned (kind of) how to take turns!
they both love the slides!
and bubbles!
and the apple tree! they learned to "reach way up high"(with some help!) and pick an apple straight off the tree and eat it all up! what a treat!!!

 

we even had lunch outside a few times! and danika learned that she LOVED using a fork and FEEDING HERSELF!
as you know, we have season tickets (with a group of people) to the cardinals games. one game i decided to go all the way up to the top of the nose bleed seats and take a few pictures.
the view up there was pretty amazing....

 

danika decided climbing was fun...
and finley decided CHOCOLATE was great!!!
she also loves "watering" my flowers

 

for my birthday i requested matt make me a bird bath for my garden...with the girls feet! and he surprised me and actually DID IT! i love the way it turned out!
the girls love sitting at the picnic table (yes, it is in the middle of the living room!) and eating snacks together, watching tv, or "reading" books!
