matt and jenn: december! 2013 and done with 2013! FINALLY

high lights of december...

a 16 wk belly and two beautiful girls! that have great smiles for me daily...beautiful blue eyes...and a glow and zest for life!

fist time danika had fingers painted was in december! she LOVES her fingernails and toenails painted! actually, they both do! and love their necklaces! and hair bows! and all the other accessories!
such girly girls!!!!

they often are in the bathroom with me while i am getting ready to leave. so they always are "putting on make up just like you mama!"

we actually had some good snow fall a few time this winter! oh my gosh they loved playing in snow!!! i dont really like being cold and wet (although i did go out and brave the cold for the girls)... this is more up matts alley! so, while he was shoveling the driveway...the girls would go "help!"
its now august and they still talk about wanting to go play in the snow!

i try to keep the girls bust and not in front of the TV all day so we did some craft making. we made cinnamon christmas ornaments (another pinterest idea). they had fun with this and the ornaments smelled so good!
we also made gifts for the grandparents...with ink pads, their fingerprints and tiny picture frames to make ornaments...they LOVED this! and danika had more ink on herself than on the paper! thank goodness baths are fun too!
we also painted...and it turned into just painting a few paper plates and swirling all the colors together. so simple, yet so entertaining!

have i told you i love these girls!?!?!

they bring me joy (and headache!) every day!

at the botanical gardens this year they had the garden glow. this was the first year for it. so we went with matts family. it was pretty awesome...but the night we went it was FREEZING and ended up raining on us...
i think we all decided that although the botanical gardens lights were neat, the zoo lights were better! and the zoo is much cheaper too! we go to the zoo lights every year and will continue this for years to come...not sure about the botanical gardens...

we went to my BFF house for her annual christmas party.....
and santa and mrs clause were there! just like every year!
but this year finley wanted NO pART OF Him! danika was ok....but no way finley was even looking at him! thank goodness he is such a nice guy and had a gift for finley anyway!

and every year...danika eats santas cookie! or at least takes several bites out of it!

christmas morning is always fun and chaotic! im sure just like every house in america!
gifts and gifts and more gifts! and it always takes several hours to open those gifts cause you HAVE to stop and play with each gift you open!
