nora is 9 months

well, nora was 9 months on feb 19....
 she is in size 3 diapers. size 6-9 and 9 months clothes.
she weighs 17 lbs 5 oz (25%) and is 26 3/4 inches long (25%). her head is 17 1/2 inches (50%)
she is finally a GREAT sitter. but thats is. no desire to move. not trying to pull up, scoot, crawl. nada. happy as a clam sitting in the middle of the floor having her sisters bring her stuff.!
she is great with "food"/purees now! she opens her mouth like a little bird! she started the month eating only 2 cubes at a feeding, but now she eats 4-6 at a time! she has improved greatly! (i puree the food, then freeze them in ice cube trays). she started "getting it" around 8 months 1 week! we try to feed her at least 2 times a day now...one veggie and one fruit. the new foods she has tried (and loved! hasnt disliked anything yet) are mandarin orange slices, then pureed butternut squash, apples, blueberries, and peas. she hits her tray with her hands when she wants more food! and im not giving it to her fast enough! loves trying to feed herself puffs! she can pick them up with her hand, but cant transfer them to her mouth very well...
she still gets her breast milk bottles 5 oz every 3-4 hours. she will hold her bottle herself, and when she finishes is all...will throw it down! and dont try to stop her to burp her! no way!
she poops once a day now
jan 6 she got #4 tooth (and finley had croup). upper middle left.
she is starting to grow HAIR!!!! it looks like it is going to be the darkest out of the 3 girls hair.

still 2 naps a day, and hour around 10. then a few hours at 2 (with the rest of us!). she gets super cranky when she is tired. she still sleeps in our room in her rock n play...with her taggie (actually finleys) blanket. she goes to bed at 8pm and will sleep till 8am...but still wakes once between 12-1 for a bottle.
the girls still love her to death. and she gets so excited when they play with her! she will smile, giggle, and flap her arms like she is flying!
she is super drooly. super happy. super smiley! super ticklish.
rocks her thunder thighs and squishy cheeks.
loves to chew on the tags of things (stuffed animals...anything with a tag)
she still sucks on her l finger and thumb...
no words yet, but "mamamama" every once in a blue moon... lots of babble, squeals and growls!

still not a fan of the bath...but did actually not cry the entire bath time last time. i gave her a foam letter and she chewed on it...distraction at its best!
is totally a mamas girl right now...and will cry if i try to hand her to someone....or walk out of the room.
loves playing the dropsy game and peek a boo!
