fun friday

~so this past friday matt and i went to the st. louis science center and spent the afternoon there. it was fun since neither one of us had been there in ages. matt found these brain teaser puzzles...and figured a few of them out, but one really stumped him!!! it was the "african rope puzzle". it was too funny to watch him try to figure this thing out! heres a picture, can you tell he is concentrating HARD?!?!?!?! (look at his tongue!!!)

he worked on it for a while, then we went on to other parts of the science center....then we HAD to go back so he could try again, it was driving him NUTS!!!....he didnt get it the second time around either....he says he is going to make one, so he can figure it out....we will keep you posted!

so, of course i always have my camera and want to take pictures....i guess matt gets tired of it every once in a while and thinks he is funny by making a face...well, i decided to blog that picture...ill show you matt!:-) (love you bunches!)
while we were at the science center, we also went to the Body Worlds exhibit! it was very cool! the exhibit actually is real human bodies and parts, with the muscles exposed so you can see what goes on under the skin. i know it sounds pretty morbid, but it was actually really neat. if you ever have a chance to go to this exhibit, i would recommend it! i have added the link to the Body Worlds website, check it out! http://http//www.bodyworlds.com/en.html

~friday night we had a wedding reception to go to. one of his friends from back in the day, mark, married his long time girlfriend, stephanie. needless to say, a lot of matts friends were there that hes been friends with since high school or right afterwards, so that was fun to see them all again....and their WIVES and pictures of all the KIDS! :-) matt even made the comment about how things have changed....that back in the day, all these friends just partied, partied, partied! now they still party, but party with wives.....:-) and the kids are at home with a baby sitter!!! i told matt thats what happens when you grow up and get older!!!!:-)

PS...to everyone i talked to about what i was going to wear to the wedding, i went with the black tights and the mary janes (courtesy of heather, THANKS!) to complete my mini dress outfit! and yes, i was fergalicious!!!!!:-)
