happy valentine's day!

happy valentine's day!
matt gave me some great gifts.....
so, i am ALWAYS cold, and matt is ALWAYS hot!
i grew up with a water bed set at about 100 degrees! that was too hot for matt, so my water bed quickly was replaced with a regular king size pillow top mattress...no more warm bed for me. so now i am forced to sleep in very sexy attire....flannel PJ pants, a t-shirt, a sweat shirt, and thick socks! i know what you are thinking..."thats hot!"
so for V day, my loving husband bought me/us an electric HEATED mattress pad with duel controls!!!! SSSWWWEEEEEEETTTTTT! so tonight, i will finally get to sleep in a WARM bed again! my side set on 8, his on low!
i sleep in the 2nd bedroom when i am working and need to sleep during the day, he didnt forget about that bed, he bought me an electric blanket for that bed!!!! so thoughtful!
and he also got me my very own racket and goggles for when we play racket ball at the gym. yes, we are still going on a regular basis and try to play racket ball once a week. i was having to "rent" my equipment from the Y (YMCA). one day matt said, "you really want to wear those goggles that other people have worn and sweated on?" thanks matt, i had never really thought of it that way....yuck! but now i have my very own pair! no more strangers sweaty cooties for me!
thank you matt for such thoughtful gifts...you rock! and i have to disagree with many other ladies out there that think they have the best husband....because I DO!:-)
and my gift to matt....a one hour couples massage at a day spa called "the spa of tranquility", tomorrow! sweet! i am excited...and yes, it is a gift for him, i just happened to sneak a treat in for me too!:-)
tonight we went to dinner at buffalo wild wings (BW3)...well, kind of. we went and had an appitizer and a beer, then went down the road to the movie theater and watched "fools gold". it was cute, matthew McConaughey(yummy) and kate hudson...matt even enjoyed it! then after the movie, we went back to BW3 and had dinner! we go there quite often and sit at the bar (the thrusday night bartender has even called us her "regulars" and always remembers what we drink and eat! so either she is a GOOD bartender, or we go way to often and are very much creatures of habit!)...drink a few beers, have some boneless wings, and play trivia...and thats how we spent valentines day night! i even beat matt at a game of trivia!
