WARNING........

IF YOU LEAVE YOUR CLOTHES IN A PILE AT THE BOTTOM OF YOUR CLOSET, THEY WILL SHRINK!!!!
so last night matt decided to clean up the bedroom a little bit (about time honey!). i actually think he was having fun. he kept coming out to the living room with another something he had found and was all excited about....a shirt he wore on float trip in '03 which has the sleeves cut off ("look honey, it makes my arms look big!"), a speaker box he thinks he is going to fix and put in his car...just like a little kid at christmas...he was excited about all his finds! its amazing what you find at the bottom of your closet!
then came the jean shorts...he came bounding out and says "look...they almost fit"...let me paint the picture: he had them on...but the button was far from closed!
i smiled "yeah".
he takes a DEEP breath and sucks it in...and they button! "a little snug..."
"i see that. how old are they?"
"not that old...they were in the pile that came form tiny's house" (he lived with tiny before me, and we have lived together for 3 years)
"well, what size are they?" i ask, expecting him to say something ridiculous like 29s!
"i dont know....34s?"...then he takes them off and looks at the tag...."oh, 36s?!?!" we smile at each other....
he then exclaims "well, dont you know that clothes SHRINK if they are in a pile in the back of the closet?!?!?! yeah, they shrink!"
"ooooh, thats what happened to those shorts! ok..."

moral of the story....dont leave your clothes in the back of your closet in a pile for too long....they will shrink and nothing will fit!:-)
