happy halloween!

funny story to go along with this picture. (sorry about picture quality, taken with my cell phone, from outside, through the screen and the window) this is the only halloween decoration i have at my house. a fake jack-o-lantern with a light in it that i plug in every night. it is in our front bay window...and is pretty bright. especially when the outside lights are off so this is the only light you see when you look at our house...

i bought it a few weeks ago one day while matt was at school, set it up in the window, and decided to turn off the front porch lights (and the front room inside lights)...so when matt got home from his night class, this would be the ONLY light on as he walked up to the DARK house.... the cute jack-o-lantern in the window...he walks up, comes in....and comes into the living room...

and i ask "do you like it?",

"what?"...

"what? didnt you see it?"...

"see what?"...

"seriously? didnt you see the jack-o-lantern in the bay window?"...

"no"

" you didnt notice that it was dark while you were walking up to the house and the only light was the jack-o-lantern in the window?"

"no, i was just wondering why the lights were off"

hummmppppp...thats what i love about my hunky husband....his attention to detail!:-)
