on my way home tuesday moring, i had to do some last minute errands....came home, slept for 2 hours, then got back up and went to lunch at matts sister's (and family) house.... thanks laura and pat for having us over, the stew was YUMMY!
then i went back home to start my "to do" list.... throw a load of laundry in, wrap some last minute presents, and start the baking madness!:-) i have to work tonight, and then tomorrow morning we are driving to FLORIDA to spend the weekend with my family! so matt and i will have "quality matt and jenn time" for our 12 hour drive south on christmas day!
and boy, am i taking some goodies!
last night i made peppermint bark, spiced pecans, and andes mint cookies...
all three were way easy to make....and turned out tasting G R E A T, if i must toot my own horn!
the peppermint bark looks soooo pretty, you almost dont want to eat it!
spiced pecans....more like sugar and cinnamon covered pecans! whats not to love?!!?
chocolate cookies with andes mints melted on top! fan.tas.tic!
