busy, busy, busy!

im a little behind in my blogging, so this post is going to be a little about a lot!

it was my moms birthday this past wednesday...she lives in florida by my sister, so i just wanted to say "happy birthday" to my mom! shes the best mom ever! she raised my sister and i as a single parent (and we both turned out GREAT!), put herself through nursing school while working as a waitress and raising us 2 girls, and would do anything for anyone. see you next week!

i love this time of the year for several reasons.....one being all the mail we get! i just love walking out to my mailbox and seeing what the lovely mail lady brought us! and earlier this week, i had some REALLY GOOD mail! check out this beautiful christmas ornament linda over at linda and jake sent me! its a gorgeous dark red color...and the writing is in white glitter....i just love glitter and sparkle!

matt had finals this week....and ROCKED them!

great job matt! you worked HARD this semester, i am so proud of you!

grades have not been posted yet, but as far as he has figured out, hes going to get 2 "A"s and 2 "B"s! hunky husband is a smart computer guy too! bonus!!!;-) i actually saw him study this semester! he has 9 more classes to go, and then will graduate with some sort of computer degree (i know, im a bad wife...i should know what degree).

i still had a gift certificate for a one hour couples massage (matt gave it to me for my birthday), so i thought what a great time to go. wednesday, matt had his last 3 finals, so yesterday, to de-stress and unwind, we went for our hour massage!

HEAVEN!

see how happy we are! finals are done, christmas is next week, and we just got a massage!
