i am saying"i love you" when i....

this weeks challenge from lelly was hard for me. because everything we do for each other, the little things and the bigger things, all to me say "i love you".

so asked matt to act like he was me and to finish this sentence...and his response was..."...uuuuh, when you do my laundry?"

now, i was looking a for a little more romance than that! so i made him give me another answer..."when you send me pictures of yourself?".

thats a good one! while i am at work, i sometimes will take a picture of me sitting at the computer charting, i will pucker up and blow him a kiss, and take a picture with my cell phone and send it to him, just to let him know i am thinking of him.

but i still wanted something MORE for this post....so this morning, it hit me!

bought you nascar race tickets for you birthday last year!

hunky husband likes watching nascar, me...well, its on tv, so i will watch it (kind of). i surprised him last year and bought him (us) 2 tickets to the race in joliet, IL. my nursing school friend lives close to the track, so we stayed with her (thanks christy!)...we drove up friday afternoon, went to the track and tail gated, watched the race friday. and did it all over again saturday, tail gated all day, then watched the race that night.

we had a blast! and i actually ended up enjoying the races! those cars go AMAZINGLY fast!

and saturday....we were blessed with a PHENOMENAL sunset!
