staying with this months SPT theme of "8" has really made me put my thinking cap on!

right now i am on VACATION in sunny florida visiting my sister and her family and my mom! hunky husband couldnt come because of work obligations (boo work), so friday morning i pack up my car to drive the endless highway by myself.....

then i realized that i was going to pass some mileage on my car with a bunch of "8s" in it! whoopie! in a few hours, im going to have to remember to take a picture....and i can be going "78" miles per hour...the speed limit was 70, so not speeding tooo much

so, i wanted to get the mileage saying 122888.8, i would have about 5 seconds to do this. getting closer to this mileage, i noticed that there was a nasty glare on my dash, rats! so now, im driving down the road, with my cruise on, practicing the picture!

here was my first attempt...got the speedometer! the odometer! and even the pic of hunky husband and i (that is always there on my dash!!) and not too much of a glare! lots of "8"s and a pic of me in the pic! sweet! now wait .4 miles and do it again....

HAHA! my camera had other thoughts! right when it changed to 122888,8, i went to snap the picture and my camera freaked out! and wouldnt focus, wouldnt snap the picture, and just blinked this annoying red light at me.....AAHHHHHH! i have 5 seconds, and i have to stay on the road! let up on the shutter button, let the camera quit freaking.....and snap the pic again! hurry!...

that is what i got, the speedometer, the odometer, no "me" in the pic and i was a second too late! oh well, at least i stayed on the road! and so did the pick up truck next to me at the time!

i made it to my destination....12 hours and 45 minutes later (i ran into rush hour traffic and there was an accident on the highway, setting me back about 30 minutes each situation)...

miles separate us (hello another "8"!)
