i am on vacation in FLORIDA visiting my sister and her family and my mom. i got down here friday, and boy have we had a jam packed weekend already!

saturday we drove to st. george island for their annual chili cook off and some fun in the sun at the beach....

whats better than a happy baby in her sun hat!!!!! she just loved all the people, she was so excited, laughing, smiling, and kicking her feet the entire day!

after some chili dogs, BBQ pulled pork, and a FUNNEL CAKE...
we walked down to the beach...what more can you ask for in march, than to be able to put your feet in the ocean!

and if you are a daring (almost) 5 year old, you put your ENTIRE body in the ocean! yikes, it was too cold for us "grown" ups!

but HECK NO hes not! CAUSE IVE GOT THE ROCK STAR GLASSES ON!

sunday a group of us went to the last FSU home basketball game and then back to the house for some good times with friends and some GREAT food grilled up by my brother in law!

today was "recover from the weekend" day and brody had soccer practice. ive heard from hunky husband that its cool and cloudy at home....boy, i dont miss the weather back home!

it was a great weekend! i cant wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!
