we had a fantastic time!
they transformed this part of downtown into a little fun factory....
tons of food booths...bbq ribs (basically any type of bbq you would want! ribs, pulled pork, chicken...), ben and jerrys ice cream, funnel cakes, blooming onions, ears of corn, fried potato chips....
then all the carnival games, complete with prizes that consisted of those cheep carnival stuffed animals and live gold fish!
and free concerts all day! we got to see cowboy mouth and third eye blind!
- 10$ (total) admission into the festival for the 2 of us
- 40$ worth of food and beverage tickets so we could fill our bellies with 1/2 slab of ribs, 2 sides of baked beans, 2 bottles of water, 1 large bowl of ben and jerrys cherry garcia ice cream, and a blooming onion! (i know...."healthy" stuff huh!)
- spending time with matt (on a beautiful saturday evening in may in downtown stl) listening to great music.......PRICELESS!!!
