yesterday was a good day!
it was friday, and we both were off all day, no school, no work, and it was beautiful outside....
i got up earlier than hunky husband (as usual) and was trying to think of things we could do to spend the day together....
there are a ton of movies out right now that we want to see...so i thought id try to talk matt into going to a movie (hes not a big movie goer)....
he gets up and i say..."hey lets go to the afternoon movie today...the hangover is playing at 1230", and to my surprise he says, "ok"..
what?!?!?! no arm twisting needed? holy cow!
then he tells me that a few days ago, someone invited him to go to the Coldplay concert tonight and he had told them, "no, friday is date day with the wife...theres a lot of movies out we want to see!"
WHAT?!?!?! he thought of this date day and movies two days ago? all on his own!!! wow!
so we went to the afternoon showing of the hangover (very funny movie! we both laughed our butts off), then went to walmart and picked up a few things for dinner...i have been wanting tacos forever!!! so, tacos it is for dinner! yeah!
on the way home, we stopped at dairy queen!!!! and got strawberry shortcake blizzards! YUMMY!
i even got to come home and float around in the pool for about an hour.....
then we made HUGE burrito tacos for dinner! and watched the cardinals bring home a winner!
it was a great day....hanging with hunky hubby, talking, laughing, and just enjoying each other!
