rewind....being pregnant in december....

this weekend is mardi gras in st. louis...we usually go down to the parade and partake in some adult beverages....and marvel at all the "sights"....we wont be doing that this year. we didnt go last year because it snowed, i guess mardi gras is a thing of the past. thats cool, why would we want to go hang out in the 20 degree weather anyway!!! crazy folks!

this weekend is also valentines day....we usually go out to dinner and a movie...wont be doing that this year either...which kind of bumms me out just because i really want to see that movie "valentines day"...oh well, hanging at home with hunky hubby and miss finley is the best!!!! i wouldnt trade that for anything....including dinner and a movie

we have a new norm now...a baby changes a lot of things. im glad we were able to be together for so long, just the two of us, so we could DO all these things.....im even happier now, to be spending the weekend at home, in the warmth of the house, with matt by my side...and finley sleeping all snuggled up on my chest...and i just might have me an adult beverage if i feel all wild and crazy!

i still have a few posts that i had wanted to get done BEFORE my baby arrived...and now she is 3 weeks old....i must get them done! so i will put a dead line on myself, get them done before she is a month old@ so these next few posts will be wrapping up my "rewinds"... starting with

being pregnant in december.....

in december, i had my friends and family baby shower and our crib came and hunky hubby surprised me and put it together one night while i was at work (i already blogged about these things....so onto belly pics!)

on dec 18 (33 weeks) our ultra sound estimated that our baby was weighing in at 5lbs 5 oz already....good thing she didnt wait until 40 weeks to make her grand entrance!

here are pics from right around 34 weeks (dec 22-25)....we had a stocking hung for our baby, we painted my belly like a snowman, and we were dressed and ready to celebrate christmas with matts family...

this catches you up to 34 weeks...at the time...little did i know that our baby would be here in less than a month....
