finley wore the C.U.T.E.S.T sundress ever....ive been anxiously waiting for her to be able to fit in this dress and for it to be warm enough for her to wear it....and sunday was both!

we came home from church....took naps and GOT READY FOR THE POOL!
we had opened our pool earlier in the week, but then we had stormy weather and i was working so we hadnt been able to get in....
this was a FIRST!
and doesnt finley look excited!!!!
new swimming suit: check
pink shades: check
all lathered up with SPF50 sun screen: check
"big pimpin' hat" (as daddy called it): check!
new floatie with sun shade: check!
honestly, at first she wasnt to sure of things...she is still a little small for the floatie, so we had to hold her up and out of the water....but after a few minutes...she was kicking, splashing, squealing, laughing, smiling, and having a ball!
i got tons of pictures (you know me!) and even videoed with the cam corder some....i now need to figure out how to get my videos to the computer, and then up load them to the blog....that will have to be a project for another day! i will put it on my list of thing to do!
then we got out of the pool and sat in our hammock for a little bit.....
apparently swimming TOTALLY TIRES A GIRL OUT!
after we came in, and finley got a quick bath, i fed her....and she fell asleep on the boppy, so matt picked her up to put her in her swing and this is how she was.....
she was completely limp...all four limbs just hanging there....:-) i was like "she is breathing, right?"
we finished the night with a bowl of ice cream and watched the movie "couples retreat". we borrowed it from matts sister....i had really wanted to see the movie, but i am very happy i didnt spend the money to go see it in the theater! it had a few funny parts...but was just OK. it sure did make me want to go on vacation though!!!
we had such a great FAMILY weekend....i hope there are many more of these to come!

That is so funny that you said "she is breathing right?!" because I was thinking the same thing. It must be a nurse trait!
Your weekend sounded so enjoyable. We saw Couples Retreat and I was so disappointed. Stupid movie!
I haven't been in the pool yet but Howard goes in it everyday. It sure is hot though so I'll be in it soon enough.

She looks precious in her little bathing suit. It definitely looked like it wore her out. Haha. I love it when they are so tired they are just noodles. Its so funny.
