june 20...5 months old!

miss finley is 5 months old (yesterday)!!!!

geezzzzz louise!

whats up with her these days you ask? well.....

shes FINALLY in size 2 diapers! we used the last size 1 a few days ago...

she wears mostly 3-6 month clothes with a few 3 month onsies or skirts still...

she is still a drooling fool with no teeth...and still chews on her hands constantly...OR HER FEET! she just started the feet not too long ago...

she still is full of smiles that she readily gives out (as long as shes not hungry or tired!:-)

she loves to talk, aka...screech and scream! i love listening to her in the morning talking to herself before i get her...

getting her to lay next to her monkey in the pictures below was hard..she kept arching her back and about to roll over

she will roll over...front to back AND back to front now! changing her diaper is a challenge these days....she is either trying to roll over, or grabbing her feet to eat them!

she loves her new trick...she did it during this photo shoot...laying on her back, rolled to her stomach...and looked up at me like "what?"

she still sits assisted...not quite by herself yet...i did let her go the other day to see if she could sit...she

CANT!

she was in slooooow motion as she went leaning to one side and then down!

she was very excited to be sittin up in these pics, and very excited to see me! she was flailing her legs and feet (2nd pic)...then she decided to chew on the monkey....then she caught a glimpse of her foot!!!!

her favorite thing is still her activity mat with all the toys hanging down! she also loves sitting outside in the hammock chair looking at the leaves in the trees, loves splashing in the pool or bath, and is starting to giggle when we tickle her....and is totally in love with her daddy!

her bald spot on the back of her head has grown! she now has this male pattern baldness going on! hair along the nape of her neck and mostly on the right side above her ear (not as much on the left side)...thats the only dark hair left on her head! all gone is the dark wavy/curly hair that once was covering her head....its been replaced by lighter, straighter hair on top

this was also the first photo shoot that she realized that their was a bear and monkey sitting next to her....and she decided she wanted to EAT them....

she is our pride and joy....and we cant remember life without her!
