this past friday, finley and i met some of my co-workers and their children at the zoo...this was a big "firsts" day.....
it was the first time she sat in her stroller like a big girl! (and not just in her car seat on top of the stroller)......
it was also the first time i had ever breastfed IN PUBLIC! now, this may not be a big deal to you...but it sure was a big deal to me! it was quite the challenge though! we found a bench kind of tucked out of the way... it was HOT and we both were sticky and sweaty...she was squirmy! and kept grabbing the blanket i had over us and tossing it all around! then she would look up at me and smile! she was being just too stinking cute....but i was trying to hold onto a sweaty, squirmy baby....and keep us covered at the same time!!!! i want to thank my great friend kim for sitting with me and being my "block"! and for helping me so much that day at the zoo! kim...i know you read my blog....YOU ROCK!

later that evening, we met some friends at their sons baseball game....
