friday's finley fix...

its 1145 PM...so this can still be called fridays finley fix! for the next 15 minutes!!!


weve got a busy weekend planned here in the middle of the country!



tomorrow is the RACE FOR THE CURE here in st. louis...and our plan is to go down there and be a part of this great event! i have donated to this cause for many many years now, and have participated in the race several times....this will be the first time MY FAMILY and i will do the race! (if i can get everyone up and out of the house by 730 AM!)...



tomorrow night we have a reception to attend. a co-worker of mine got married on a florida beach last month and is holding a reception of sorts at a park tomorrow night...the menu consist of fresh fried chicken (no, we dont have to pluck the chicken (yes, i asked!) but it will be fried right there!), pulled pork from a local butcher, homemade potato salad (she was prepping 60lbs of potatoes tonight!).....and of course CAKE! i am looking forward to a relaxing night, enjoying the outdoors, celebrating a wedding with several of my co-worker friends!



also this weekend my plan is to FINALLY get into our pool! we opened it at the beginning of the week....then the storms came...then i had to work....so we havent be able to get in...but this weekend....its time! and yes, finley will be in with us! ive got her a way too cute suite, a hat, and a floaty! and yes...the camera is charged!!!!
