florida

last month, i took some vacation time...and we headed to FLORIDA! i used to go to florida 5-6 times a year....that was "before baby"! we hadnt been since last thanksgiving....boy was that a NeEdEd triP! my mom and sister live there....so much loved family time was had by all!
we drove through the night, so it worked well with sleeping beauty...we were there for 9 days! i (of course) took a ton of pictures.....here are some of the high lights....

there was a home FSU football game while we were in town, so friday night we headed to the "down town get down" for some food, drinks, music, and dancing!

the kids had a blast....bryn cant get enough oreo cookies, and miss finley ended up losing her fight with her eyelids....

saturday we headed to (RIGHT across the street from the stadium) and tailgated all day. my mom (mimi) and my sisters step mother in law (follow that?) graciously offered to watch the kids for us so we all could have some "adult time". thanks mimi and grandma becky!

while down there, we also got to see a scrimmage game of brodys...he plays soccer and they got to scrimmage at half time of the lady FSU soccer game! he was sooooo excited! (hes #3, the little guy in the bottom left picture).

it was BALLS hot that afternoon...so we had fun spiking finleys sweaty hair!

a pleasant surprise was that my dad was able to come to Florida for 5 days and visit while we were down there, he lives in texas...and this was the first time he met finley! (looking at that bottom right picture, i think he likes her!!!)

we all went out to dinner at olive garden one night...boy was that fun! they seated us in our own little "room"...which was a good thing because brody and bryn couldnt sit still and were running around the table....oh, to have the energy of a 6 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old!!!!! miss finley thought they were the coolest kids EvER as they ran circles around her!

we had such a great time visiting....

i miss everyone so much already...but we are able to go back at the end of december this year! i SO CANT WAIT!

while in florida, we celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary with an over night trip to Amelia island....stay tuned!.....
