told you...

let me set the scene for you......
tonight, i am standing in the kitchen warming finleys bottle for her....
she is sitting on the living room floor fussing at me because i am in the kitchen and she is in the living room...
she then proceeds to

CRAWL ACROSS THE LIVING ROOM FLOOR TO THE KITCHEN DOORWAY TO ME!

i guess she had had enough of waiting for me to come back to her!
of course i didnt have the cam corder in hand so i didnt get it on video...
but good thing i have beat that into matts head, "if she starts crawling, GRAB THE CAM CORDER!", and thats exactly what he did 2 days ago when she crawled a few "steps" then decided that was too hard and for the birds...so she laid down and rolled the rest of the way to her destination!
but tonight....she actually crawled across the room to me!!!!!
that was a "proud mom" moment! i just stood there and watched her....and SMILED!

this is her new smile when she sees my camera...all smiles, 2 teeth, and a wrinkled up nose!

i just love this girl!

we got our christmas pictures taken yesterday...i am OVER joyed as to the way they turned out! i think they are just perfect! i still need to go through them and pick out ones for christmas cards...and to blog about them....
finley also turns 10 months old tomorrow....
and thanksgiving is next week......
gosh, does anyone else to find a minute to breathe?!?!?!?
