19 months old!

i just realized that i havent done a "monthly" post for finley since she was 13 months old!!!! i am a slacker, because today, my miss finley turned 19 months old!!

what is she doing these days you might ask? well, i am about to fill you in!

she is so much fun! she is starting to say more words...and her laugh is to die for! she just giggles and giggles....it is such a sweet sound! she LOVES her daddy and "baby" (danika)....and "mama"...

she knows the sound a kitty (meeeow), monkey (oo-ooo-ooo), duck (wack wack), doggie (she pants like a dog when you ask her what a doggie says), and cow (moooo) say. she will ask for "cheese", "mill" (milk), and "straberries".

she loves sesame street and dinosaur train...she loves to "jump" on the bed...the couch...basically anything shes not really supposed to be jumping on!

she will get this surprised expression on her face and say "woooooow"!

at her 18 month dr visit she was 33.5 inches tall (90th%), 22 lbs (25th%), and her head was 18.5 inches (75th%). dr w again told us "shes perfect!"

she has a mouth full of teeth...she got #9 and #10 on july 22...her bottom lateral incisors...then on july 28 i found #11 tooth, top R molar...

she has started holding things close to her and saying "miya" (mine)...

she loves string cheese and strawberries and applesauce...and milk!!!! these little applesauce squeezes are THE BOMB! they travel in the diaper bag extremely well (no accidentally poking holes in these puppies!), they dont need to be refrigerated, and the best of all is that finley can eat them all by her self! she just holds it and sucks all the applesauce out....and she thinks she is such a big girl doing it all by herself!

we had to turn her forward facing in her car seat on aug 7, because her seat wouldnt fit rear facing behind the front seats...and she had to be moved from the middle of the back seats due to the addition of danikas car seat! she now looks out the window and says "weeeeee" or "woooow", like she is on a new roller coaster or something!

we are working on her saying "help" and "please" rather than just pointing and grunting! she still loves water...bath time, swimming pool time....watering the plants the other evening became fun-with-the hose time!

a little freckle showed up on her left cheek...

she will take the house phone, turn it longways, and then point it at us and say "cheeese"....how cute is that!??! i guess i might take a few pictures of her... thats where that came from!

she is starting preschool/MDO next week....i am all over the place with emotion on that one...and will save it for another post!

she likes brushing her teeth all by her self...really, shes sucking the water out of the toothbrush!

we love you miss finley grace!!!!!!

and our other love....miss danika catherine....will be 2 weeks old tomorrow.....
she does a lot of this!.....

so i do a lot of cuddling with my baby right now...

my days consist of danika duty...feeding, changing, burping (trying not to get spit up on, cause shes been know to give her feeding back to me!), and sleeping when she sleeps, or at least try to. matt has been on finley duty, so for now...its working out fine...we are just still adjusting to having a 19month old and a newborn!
