20 months.....i mean 21!

finley 20 months old....

well, i started this post a month ago....and now finley is 21 months old today!
so i will fill you in on the past month!!

finley is growing so fast....and amazing me everyday with all the new things she is doing!

she still takes 2 naps (most days) and is loving school! she is learning so much....and even some sign language there ("more", "eat", and "finished")! drop off isnt so bad anymore, she actually reaches for her teachers now!

she still totally loves her little sister....and when danika cries, she will give her binki to her (and actually gets it in her mouth now rather than her eye!)...when i change danikas diapers, finley says "baby poop!" and she loves to throw her diapers away for me....and pats her on the back to "burp" her with me! if danika is sleeping, finley will put her finger to her lips and say "shhhhhhh, baby sleeping!" she still always wants to hold her...and gives her kisses all the time.

finley totally loves her daddy....and me too of course....but shes a daddys girl, im ok with that!

she goes to bed between 8-9pm and gets up usually around 8ish. she is in size 3 diapers and weighs 24 lbs. she wears size 18 month (pants)-24 month and 2t tops....she has the same problem as me, her pants are too short if they fit her waist (size 12 months or 18 months) or fall off her tiny waist if we want her to not wear high waters! so, for now, everything is too short for her@ id rather have it that way, than her saggin!!!

she loves to be tickled...and has the best laugh ever!

if i were to do itsy bitsy spider (the spider crawls up her and tickles her neck!) all day to her, she wouldnt complain one bit! she actually come up to me and asks for it...."nain" (again) with her arms raised above her head....that translates to ....do itsy bitsy spider again! (actually the very first picture collage of this post has her doing this, its the bottom right picture)

she loves to swing ("weeeeee")...and go down slides! she loves to run and jump too! even if she only barely gets off the ground!

she is saying a ton of words...that we actually understand now! some of her newer words are... "weee" (swing), "waaash"(trash), "bapes" (grapes), "lellow" (yellow...and she can tell you if something IS yellow), "bockey" (broccoli), "bur ble" (purple), "bubble", "ute" (up, when she wants to be held), "ugg" (hug).......and the list goes on and on....

she is also saying some sentences!!!!

if she sees a coffee mug, she says "hot!"..."i see you!", "help me please", "i did it!", "where daddy go?", "shes cute!"

she started this new thing a few days ago...that is not so cool...she puts her hands down into her diaper WHEN THERE IS POOP in it....and then pulls out her poopy hands and says "ewwww".....how do you stop that?????

she actually woke us up today by saying..."daddy. ewwwwwww. hands.....yucky." and sure enough, she had poop all over bother her hands and all over her pjs and the sheets....so she got a bath and we did laundry, then later we laid her down for her morning nap, i went to check on her and she had taken all her clothes off, her onsie (we put her in a onsie thinking she woulndt be able to get into her diaper), pants, and socks...and was just laying there in her diaper. she saw me sneak in and when she rolled over to me she held her hands up and said "ewwwwww", then i saw it...poop all over both hands (yes, she had just been sucking her thumb! EWWWW is right!) and her face! O.M.G! so she got her second bath and we did a second load of laundry, and it wasnt even noon yet! so now, she is laying down for her afternoon nap, in fleece footed zip up pjs (we are on vacation at my sisters house, and thats all the store had! fleece in florida!)....and we are praying she cant find a way to get into her poopy diaper! ugggg...i hope this phase fades fast~

i know this is finleys 21 month post, but i cant finish without a few pictures of sweet almost 11 week old danika! she is smiling and coooing....and that just melts me! the prevacid is working wonders so shes not puking anymore....she still sleeps best when i hold her or when she is next to me, but i am working on getting her to sleep in the pack and play next to me at night...its been a rough road....but we are still working on it!

my maternity leave is quickly coming to an end, i go back to work nov 6....and really dont want to go! but i dont have a choice....so back to work i go!

we are spending a few weeks down in florida right now visiting my sister and mom....my last hurah! before i go back to work!
