first up, a pumpkin patch....

last week we went to the pumpkin farm!
finley kept pointing at the pumpkins and saying "apple!"
no finley, they are PUMPKINS!...
"apple!"
she walked up and picked out her pumpkin, then promptly threw it onto the ground and said "ball?"....
matt told her we werent supposed to be smashing pumpkins....but she just kept throwing it on the ground....so we got smart and just didnt hand it back to her!

finley wasnt to keen on all the pumpkins, gourds, or straw bails.....she kept looking at everything like it was going to get her....and she was ready to RUN!

isnt that a GREAT picture of hubby!???! i think he was done with the picture taking!!!

the farm also has some small animals (goats, a llama, baby pot belly pigs, bunnies, baby cows, and ducks) the kids can pet or feed...well, miss finley didnt want anything to do with any of this either! as you can see by the pictures, she had a death grip on us if she would get anywhere close to the animals... the geese (she was excited for a minute about the "duck!") were cool until they started honking....then she was like "gET ME OUTTA HERE!"

oh well, maybe next year she will want to feed the animals!

i just love these pictures. we were having so much fun this night! finley was drinking her milk and decided she wanted to share with danika and me!!!! and apparently danika thought it was cool!!! (see her smile in the middle picture!!!!)...finley was getting the biggest kick out of "sharing" with her baby sister!!!
then, of course....whats better than kisses from your girls to end the day!!!!!!
