over labor day weekend my dad was able to drive up from texas for a visit....to meet baby danika and see miss finley!
we had so much fun!...really didnt do anything to speak of except visit...
we went to matts parents house for dinner saturday night. it was nice because matts brother and his daughter were also in town!
then sunday we went back over to matts parents and spent the day...they had a toth family reunion/BBQ/white elephant christmas in september gift exchange! theyve been doing this for a few years now on labor day weekend and it is always so much fun visiting with everyone!
and it was great getting to see my dad again! we live so far away...so we dont get to visit near as much as we should!

after finley decided papa wasnt some strange fellow....she loved hanging out with him! and danika loved him from the start....she loves anyone with a warm chest that lets her sleep on them though!

makes everything so worth it! all the infertility jazz we went through, all the $$ we went through, the 2 labors with no epidurals, the sleepless nights, the volcano pukes, the squirt across the room poops.....EVERYTHING!

finley started "school" at the end of August...and its going great....but....
those (dang) kids love to share....their GERMS! finley got mono and a RaGinG ear infection at the beginning of september...it was horrible...she was miserable! and so were we! it is so stinking sad when your babies are sick....and she cant tell you what hurts.....she was sick for a good week and a half....below was the first night in what seemed like FOREVER that she was smiling and laughing....thats when we knew we had our miss finley back! back from that evil mono ear infection monster!!!!
