2 years ago today....

......my life changed forever!
finley grace was born at 11:36pm...jan 20, 2010!
she came very quickly into this world (i was at the hospital 50 minutes before she was born!)...and i even quicker fell in love with that little 6 lb 13 oz sweet baby!
i can not believe she is already 2!
im a little emotional thinking about my baby .......being 2.
that sound so old to me....shes not a "baby" anymore....i mean, 1 still sounds like a baby...but 2...that sounds like a big girl, a toddler! and thats exactly what she is!
we are going to sesame street live today for her birthday and i AM SO EXCITED! i cant wait to see her face! she is so into elmo right now is ridiculous!
some of the things finley loves right now:
~yay-yolk (yogurt)
~oatmeal
~loves to "yump" (jump)
~loves to be tickled!
~loves elmo, "twwwaaaain"(thomas the train), milk, "brockie" (broccoli), "apple" (applesauce), kitties, daddy, "baby" (danika), mama, steak, chicken, "buberries", "stwaberries", "puppy" (her stuffed dog she sleeps with every night)
~she loves to pick out her shoes every morning and always asks "shoe on"
~asks for a "hair bow" (a barrette or rubber band) to be put in her hair just to rip it back out in less than 5 minutes...then asks for you to put it back in her hair!
~likes those little oranges, cuties, and will ask "mo oran"
~loves pretzel rods and cookies (thanks to matt!)
~ if we are not home and she gets tired, she will come up to us, grab our hand, and ask us to "go hooooome", she did this while we were on vacation in florida, on new years eve, and sometimes even when she is at grandmas house
~she can count to 10! all by herself!....and actually today she was counting past 10....11, 12...
~she knows colors really well! the christmas tree lights actually helped her get good at her colors!
~she can do a somersault!
~she can recognize letters on the computer keyboards and on my t-shirts! she will point to a letter, then tell me what it is! and shes usually right! occasionally she will say "bee" instead of "cee", but i think they sound so close its hard to distinguish between the two sounds, especially to a 2 year old little girl just learning the letters!
~she knows a lot of animals and the sounds they make
~she L.O.V.E.S "baby" (danika), always wanting to hold her and kiss her, give her her "binkin" (binki), rub her head and pat her on her back. if danika starts to cry and we are in a different room, finley will stop what she is doing and say..."oh no! baby cwying! hurwee! hurwee!" and then she goes running towards where danika is!

finley has filled us with so much joy and smiles and laughter. she is such a sweet girl, always includes everyone (everyone gets a kiss, everyone gets a hug, everyone gets a bite of whatever she is eating!), and is so full of life! she lights up a room with her bright blue eyes and big smile! or....her scowl....brows down, eyes half closed, lip out!
i will have tons of pictures and more to post after this weekend....sesame street today....pictures tomorrow....party sunday!
