matt says to me the other night..."wow, you havent blogged in a long time!"
really? when was my last post?
"danikas half birthday"....
WHAT??!!? has it really almost been a month since i blogged anything! i am slipping!!!! its been a crazy busy month....
matts dad had his double lung transplant, and exactly 2 weeks and 2 days later he went home from the hospital! hes done exceptionally well!
matt had surgery as well, had his tonsils, adenoids, some soft palate and his uvula all taken out to help with his sleep apnea!
finley had pneumonia and bilateral ear infections again...and was diagnosed with asthma :-(
danika had an ear infection.
and honestly, im just plain tired! by the time we put finley to bed between 8-9, and danika falls asleep (in my arms after feeding)...i fall asleep on the couch as well! i have every intention to blog in my "free time" after i get the kiddos asleep....but staying awake to blog is apparently an issue for me! so today, while finley was napping, and danika was napping (on my lap on a pillow after feeding...see a trend here?!?!?)...i uploaded my pictures, got the red eye out...and put them in collages and then uploaded them to blogger....
so....shall we get caught up?!?!!?......
i just love watching them sleep! they are so peaceful!
yes, even matt is peaceful when he sleeps!

finley...gosh this kid is so much fun! she is so loving and full of life!
such a sweet soul!
we had danika on the floor a few times for tummy time and finley decided to lay next to her! isnt this just the cutest!?!?!? SISTERLY LOVE!
danika and i watched whitney houstons funeral on the internet...she actually really enjoyed all the singing!
we had a run away naked baby on night after bath....that decided to do somersaults off the couch!
this was my surprise one morning when i came home from work and sat down to pee...matt had given the girls a bath and finley had played with her new tub crayons! and she made me a masterpiece! you bet your bottom dollar i grabbed my camera and took pictures with a huge grin on my face! so cute!
we got the ka-dunk-a-dunk out and thought danika would love it...shes getting to where she wants to be sitting up and not laying down all the time. boy were we wrong! she hated it....i think she is afraid of the spinney thing that has the little balls in that makes noise when it spins...and of course finley loves to spin it and make noise! she thinks it is the coolest thing ever! oh...and she loves getting in the ka-dunk-a-dunk as well! to play...or just sit there and watch tv! she climbs in by herself...but then is stuck and cant get out without help! she is too funny! danika is starting to warm up to the thing, as long as that spinney thing doesnt spin!
look at what the big girl did!!!!! notice anything in these pictures!!?!?!?!?!?
she is sitting up all by her self! leaning on her hands....but sitting up non the less! where has my baby girl gone!?!?!?!

look at these two beautiful faces i get to look at every day!!!! life is really really good! finley is doing the sign for "more" in the first picture! she learned this at the beginning of the school year and uses it all the time! and the sign for "all finished"!

feb 27, 2012....finley is 25 months and a week....danika is 6 months 2 weeks 6 days....
we went to walmart!....me...and both girls!!!! i know, i know, its about time? right? well, WHATEVER! i did it! i took both of them to walmart and we all 3 lived to tell about it! and yes, i was the crazy mom with my camera AND my cell phone camera taking pictures! my mom laughed and asked where i had room for the groceries! thank goodness i didnt have a long list of things to get, and having danika in the cart in her bucket made me STICK TO MY LIST! because you all know that you always go into walmart for "a few things" and come out hundreds of dollars later!....i still spent 85$ though! see that 0.97$ flower that finley is holding?!?!?! that was the best 0.97$ i spent! it kept her happy and occupied the entire shopping! and yes....it is now in my living room! and it is continuing to make my finley happy!
so....i think i am going to break this post up into two....
i need to go to bed!

Wow! It has been awhile! But now I feel like you have really caught us up! The girls are so cute and really growing up fast! Miss Danika sitting up? Wow! I stll think your shopping trip is hilarious! You needed to pull a second cart around behind you for your groceries! Thanks for all the cute pics! I don't know which one is my favorite...they are all so cute. Love,Mimi
