st paddys day 2012

what a great day!
the weather was fantastic for the parade today!
it was sunny and 80 degrees!
we headed down to downtown st louis for the st patricks day parade!

while we were getting ready, finley decided to put on some make up like mama was doing....and this is what we got! i think weve got some practicing to do, dont you!

finley had the best seat in the house for a little bit!...
then she wanted to "hold me" (aka, me to hold her)... so i ended up with BOTH my girls in tow!
i just love the look on danikas face in the picture with her daddy!, like shes saying "what?!!?!"

finley had a great time dancing and jumping around! here she is singing her favorite song..."squishing up her baby bumble bee!"... and then taking a break from all the running around!

danika took a 45 minute power nap...see happy baby!...finley, not so much....she wouldnt even shut her eyes....which made for a very tired finley! (she sucks her thumb when she gets tired....). but she was still having fun! and playing with her sister! and of course, sporting her super cute hat!

and this is what miss no nap finley looks like at 6PM! crashed out on grandmas couch! and danika crashed for a 2 hour nap too!
i guess running around at a parade for 2 hours is pretty tiring!

as i sit here at 0122AM finishing this post,

everyone in my house is asleep....

matt had his tonsillectomy for his sleep apnea, and doesnt snore anymore...

so it is quiet in my house.....

VERY QUIET

(except for the birds chirping on the sound machine for both girls...)

and i dont think i like it!
