my sister has a HUGE dog, that could eat both my children in one gulp...good thing he is a gentle giant!
danika and finley both enjoyed playing in the cozy coupe! danika even checked her blind spot before she changed lanes!
danika also love that bald baby! i think it reminded her of herself!

one night the kids were being silly, and put balls in their shirts! they were cracking all of us up!
bryn and finley got along (most of the time!)
and danika was just as happy as can be sitting in the middle of all the chaos!
these other 4 pictures (finley not happy) is what happens when "puppy" has to take a bath in the washer...she stood in front of the washer and cried and pouted....poor finley
the kids LOVED swimming in the pool (aka, hot tub!)
brody was the only brave sole that got into the actual pool, it was a tad chilly!
danika grew to really like that huge dog, spike!
one day we went to the park!
finley had a blast on the slide!
danika loved the swing....
until the grey skies opened up and poured on us! our day at the park was cut short...but we had fun while we were there!

a lot of this happened on our vacation as well! i got out of the shower and this is what i came down to....daddy "watching" the girls :-)
we also went to the beach one afternoon....

danika had cheezits for the first time, thanks to her sister!
she wasnt too sure about the water AT ALL!
she had a kung foo death grip on me...
after a while, i was able to set her down on the sand right where the water came up...and she eventually enjoyed splashing in it...

was happiest under the umbrella...eating cheezits and drinking water....
or playing in the sand with the bucket
we tried to get her to go out into the water...or at least put her feet in...and she wasnt having any part of it!
matt made bowling pins and a bowling ball...
and wrote in the sand (just like on our honeymoon, and every beach weve been to since! i guess its tradition now!)
what a beautiful view!
this beach isnt big....it just has a little parking lot, a few concrete picnic tables, and an "out house" of sorts..but its never crowded either....
and its PERFECT for us!

one night, a group of girls went to painting with a twist to celebrate my sister and cindys (a friend of my sisters) birthday! this was SO FUN! if you have one in your town, i highly recommend it!
you get to pick a picture to paint (this was done way before we got there, when my sister made the reservations)...and they give you a blank canvas, a paint brush, and some paint! you have an "instructor" that is at the front painting the picture as well and showing you how to do it! oh, and you are allowed to bring adult beverages!

but each one turned out different and unique!
i take tons of pictures of the kids....
and sometimes forget all the "big kids"!
so...
here we all are! all smiles just like the babies!
the last day we were their, matt and brandon golfed (they got go twice this trip)..
then we all spent the afternoon hanging out by the pool!
and the kids (big and little) couldnt be happier!
isnt the sound of kids laughing and splashing the best!
