15 months old...WHAT????

 

this girl is a whopping 15 months old today!

i stopped the monthly updates at a year, but i think 15 months is a good one to do...

so here you go...

at 15 months old danika:

loves to eat! i always say shes my eater and finley is my sleeper!

babbles all the time..."mamama" "dadadada"

walks (still wobbly) but prefers to crawl! its much easier and quicker!

L.O.V.E.S FINLEY and the kitties!

still is a breastfeeding baby! when she wakes up, before naps and before bed

sleeps on her belly with her knees pulled up under her

sleeps with a teddy bear (finley has named "bear") and another dog stuffed animal as well at times

still doesnt have a lot of hair on top of her head, but a ton in the back and its getting long!

still has beautiful blue eyes and light brown hair

i just found 2 more teeth (molars). they are #9 and #10! (and they have made me a firm believer in the amber necklace i haver her wearing for teething pain! i keep finding teeth and have no clue she is teething except for the drool monster she has turned into!) 

she is very ticklish! and has a FANTASTIC laugh and a dimple!

she loves shoes!

likes to feed herself, if i try to feed her she gets mad and turns her head away

crawls to her booster chair and tries to climb in when she is hungry (did i mention she is my "eater?")

she gets pretty cranky when she is hungry or tired (and may throw a fit@)

loves to torment finley. she will sneak up and take finleys beloved "puppy" (her stuffed animal) and then try to run from finley, smiling the entire time!

still cries for a minute or two EVERY TIME i lay her down into her crib (except tonight! she actually was smiling at me as i laid her down...and kept smiling as i walked away! no fuss. no cry. nothing! just smiling at me!)

sleeps from 7:30-8:30pm until 7-8 am

takes 2 naps for me. one at about 10 and the next at about 2. both for 2-3 hours~ but will only take one nap if she is at the day care

loves dora (i blame finley for this!) and will get all excited and point at the tv and say "do do do" just like the theme song goes!

points and grunts at everything! she communicates like a cave man!

she signs "more" but to her and me that means "eat" (i taught her wrong and never corrected it). that is also what she signs when she want to breastfeed.

she is a happy baby

loves to put any real or toy phone up to her ear and babble away like she is actually on the phone!

waves bye bye

bee bops up and down dancing to music

she is in size 12 month pants (and a few 9 month i havent put away yet)

size 18 month tops (and some 12 months)

size 3 diapers

i weighed her on my friends baby scale last week and she weighed (fully clothed) 20 lbs!
