we carved our pumpkins and the girls were so different!
finley didnt want any part of the "peanuts" that were in the pumpkins! she played with her long cooking spoon in the seeds i had scooped out, but if any part of the innards of the pumpkins touched her, she would scream "ewwww yucky!" until i got it off!
danika on the other hand, LOVED IT! she was eating the seeds and had her little spoon actually IN the pumpkins getting all the innards all over her!

our creations turned out super!
the white one is mine, then the big one is matt, then danika and then finleys...
finley told me what shapes to cut out of her and danikas pumpkins, i sure am glad she didnt ask for an "ocagon"!

for halloween, we had 2 sweet lady bugs!

we went trick or treating for about 2 hours..
and the girls did great!
at first finley wanted me to "hold you", so i had to carry her up to each house...
but she did say (more like a shy whisper at first) "trick or treat" and "thank you" at every house!
i was pretty proud of her!
and even more proud when she started walking up to the houses (holding tightly onto my hand of course!)...then i could take the baby up to the houses as well!
the masked people did completely freak finley out a few times though...but i dont blame her! we walked up to get candy at one house and someone was dressed as the scream ghost. totally freaked finley out...and i must agree, it looked pretty scary. so the GIRL took off the mask, and then finley (and mama!) were fine!
finley held her bucket and kept saying "my bucket!"
danika held a sucker and kept putting it in my face and grunting! she was pretty proud of that sucker (with the wrapper still on!)

Halloween is so much fun for the kids (and parents too!) I really think the little lady bugs were the cutest ones on the block! I liked those pumkins too! Love, Mimi
