TWO! part one...

danika turned two last week! aug 7!
geesh louise! how did that happen!?!?!? I better get this blog posted!...
so...
here she is...at her birth minute... 0256 AM aug 7, 2013. sound asleep, like everyone else in the house, but me...so I could snap a few pics!

 

we opened presents in the morning....
daddy took the morning off work...
so we could...

 

go to the ZOO!

 

DANIKA....
IS TWO! but if you ask her she says,
"me tree!"
she weighs 24 lbs 8 oz (25%)
is 34.5 inches tall (75%)
wears size 4 diapers, is in 4-5 shoes, and in 18-24 months clothes

 

we watched the sea lion show, a first for us...the girls were interested for about a minute...then were swinging from the hand railings!
we also went into the penguin house!

 

the penguin house was COLD....and
LOUD!

 

then we headed over to ride the carousal!
finley LOVES this....danika,
not so much!
she wouldn't ride an animal...so I held her, and she thought that was just as much fun!

 

we also walked across the bridge,
looked through the "Telescope",
and went into the under water sea lion tunnel!
by then, it was getting close to nap time...so time to head home!

 

after nap and dinner, we all got spiffed up to have danikas 2 year pictures taken at horner park.
danika wasn't feeling the photographer (a friend of mine) and basically refused to smile at all!
typical!
finley slowly warmed up to her...but I was promised the pictures turned out great, that they weren't all smiley, but they were great! which I am ok with....just as long as shes not crying! I should get the pics in a few weeks@ I cant wait!
don't you just love their sweet little dresses?!?!?!

 

then we came home and had birthday cupcakes!
right after we sang to danika....
and she cried!

 

I guess we scared her with our singing!
finely was so sweet, she put her hand up and told us to
"stop! danika doesn't like that!"
then she turned and hugged her and asked
"danika are you ok?"
it was too sweet!
