we drove to my sisters house and spent 2 days there...
matt was the best daddy/uncle ever and let the little girls paint his toes garnet and gold for the FSU noles!

we went to the tail gate Saturday while my mom watched the little ones (thanks mimi!)...
then we came home and it was my turn to get my toes painted!

sunday we drove to DISNEY WORLD!!!
and we were very excited for the week to begin!
we went with matts BFF and his family(frank, Melissa, Nathan 11 years old, matthew 8 years). they are Disney veterans! we were Disney virgins...so it worked well. I felt like we had our own tour guide with us letting us know what we should definitely do or maybe didn't have to do!
we stayed on site, animal kingdom lodge (awesome!) and had 4 day park hoppers plus water parks, and the meal plan.

Monday was epcot!
the girls were all excited to ride in the stroller (I rented one from kingdom strollers) and ride the bus! (the shuttle to and from all the parks!)
they were also all excited to meet mickey, minnie, and pluto....
TILL WE WERE THERE TO MEET THEM! ;-)
finley freaked out and started screaming and crying...and suctioned herself to the back wall behind me...
danika just kind of got very quiet and clingy..
but we were able to take her up to meet the characters and have them sign their books...
finley, no luck! she stayed suctioned to the wall!

then we went and had lunch with the princesses!
much better luck there!
after the initial one (which was belle and finley favorite, but she wasn't feeling them yet)...
they both loved the princesses and that they came to talk to them, have their picture taken, and autograph their books!

Monday was also mine and hunky hubbys 7 year anniversary!
who else can say they had lunch with the princesses and beer in "japan" on their 7 year wedding anniversary!

in the afternoon of each day, we went back to the hotel to nap the girls ....
then would go back out in the evening.
Monday night, we went back to epcot to watch their fire works show!
it was really awesome!!!!!
then we had some fun leaving the park through all the shops...trying on different hats!
our kids really got along well...
finley and Nathan (who is almost 11) even held hands a lot of the week!!
so sweet and innocent!!!!

Happy 7th Anniversary! Looks like everyone had a great time. When my kids get a few years older we should plan a trip and we all go together.
Looks like a lot of fun! I love the fire works! Love, Mimi
