matt and jenn: blizzard beach and animal kingdom days 2 and 3!

day 2 of our disney week we went to the water park!
in the morning matt and frank got up and went golfing ...i didnt mind...they were out the door at like zero still dark thirty!...the girls and i actually got to sleep in till 9AM!!!

the boys got back from golfing and we all packed up and went to blizzard beach water park!
finley loved it! she loved the wave pool and rode a few water slides with matt.
danika didnt like the wave pool...AT ALL! so her and i went to the little kids area and she splashed around in the water there and chased the water shooting up from the ground! she did go on a few of the water slides in the kiddy area, but only if she was on my lap...i did trick her once and push her down by her self...she did fine, but wasnt a fan...and she was sure that i never "tricked" her into going without me again! then her and i rode on an inner tube on the lazy river all the way around the entire park! i really enjoyed that! we got stuck under a few of the water falls on the lazy river, boy that was some cold water!
the 4 of us were able to ride on a huge inner tube together and go down a water slide! now that was fun! finley LOVED it!!! danika was all smiles, she was holding on all proud like a big girl...then we went down and around the first turn...you should have seen her face!
PRICELESS! her eyes got wide and her smile disappeared! she held on (for dear life)....and when we were at the bottom, she was DONE! finley...begged to go again! so back up to the top matt and finley went to ride down again while danika and i went to get our stuff to start packing up to go back to the hotel.

that night, we had dinner in our hotel at the restaurant, boma. it was delish!!!! and a fun african themed atmosphere!

wednesday was animal kingdom day!
we had breakfast with donald duck and the crew...
and again, finley not a fan...
towards the end of breakfast, if the characters didnt try to interact with her...and she was on my lap...
we GOT SMILES!

after breakfast we rode on the safari ride and saw a TON of cool animals! (see the lion laying on the very top of that huge rock in the middle?)
and saw the tree of life!

we headed over to the kiddy land rides...
on the way there we stopped and met pooh and tigger...
finley said she wanted to give them our books to sign, but she totally bailed once it came time to actually hand the books to them! dont you love her "smiles" in these pictures!!!
actually, she made a HUGE BREAKTHROUGH
and touched (petted) tiggers hand after the picture...
i was very proud of her! she had a rough week with these big furry things trying to be her friend all week!

after we rode some more rides and watched a few shows we headed back to the hotel for our nap...
then that evening we headed to magic kingdom to watch the fireworks!!!!!
the girls were in AWE of the PRINCESS CASTLE!!!

AND THE FIREWORK SHOW (WISHES) WAS FANTASTIC!
i love fireworks and so do the girls!!!!
after the fireworks, we were able to ride several rides with little to no waiting!!!!
woo hoo! now that was awesome!!!
