and one of our biggest rivals are the chicago cubs.
we try to get up to chicago at least once a season to watch a cards/cubs game. we are actually supposed to be up there this weekend, going to the game tonight....but the st louis BLUES made it to the play offs, and their first home play off game is tonight...matt works at the blues stadium, so we had to back out of our chicago trip (let me wipe my tear).....
anyway, if any of you have ever been to a cubs game in wrigley, you may have noticed that they have lots of traditions....when they win, they fly a white flag with a blue "W" on it and they play this catchy song (yes, i even really do like the song...and have been known to dance to it with the joyous cubs fans even though if i am hearing this song, it means my beloved cardinals have lost. hey, im a good sport!)....they play this song EVERYWHERE! the stadium, the radio, the bars! and once you hear it.....it is stuck in your head forever~
