i love doing yard work (do you think im crazy?)...matt, not.so.much.
i love it even more when we are out there together doing yard work...its like we are working on OUR yard, OUR little space of land... TOGETHER...makes me happy! i just wish i could get him out there more with me...any suggestions?!?!?!!?
so matt mowed the yard and i raked all the leaves out of my flower beds...again! (i did this a few weeks back, after i was done, i came in to watch the news and we were supposed to get below freezing for the next few days, frost advisory...so i went back outside and raked the leaves BACK into my flower beds, onto my fragile baby flowers that were starting to pop up, to protect them from the freezing temps). the yard always looks so good right after its mowed!
we also trimmed up some over grown bushes, our trees in the front yard, and my butterfly bushes....and started to cut out some old dead bushes that look so bad and need to go!
and finally, i threw planted some grass seed where matts old car sat FOREVER...because of that, we have a big bare spot! and today its raining....to water my grass seeds! thank you mother nature! i appreciate your help!
i feel so accomplished!

Jen, I don't think you're crazy at all...I love yard work, especially planting flowers. I'm hoping to get some planted tomorrow or Monday but it's supposed to be really hot so we'll see.
You wanna get Matt in the front yard with you...wear a bathing suit! He'll be outside in no time. Only one problem, so will all the neighbors!
I can't believe you have more freeze warnings coming.. April is almost over!! See another reason to move to FL
