9 months old!

my dear sweet finley turned 9 months old on wednesday, oct 20!
what the heck!?!?!
it is very hard to believe that she is 9 months old already....we are just cruising along....at the speed of light!!

i had worked the night before, so as i slept, finley and daddy enjoyed the warm fall weather and went for a walk...
apparently there was some static cling going on...check out her hair!

these pictures crack me up.....i guess she is more comfy showing a little leg....

so...what is miss finley doing these days with her 9 month self you ask.....

well, today we went for her 9 month well baby check up and she weights a whopping

17 lbs 10 oz! (25th% )

29 inches long (90th %)

and her head circumference is 17.5 inches (50th %)

long and lean!

shes in size 3 diapers

6-9 months clothes for the most part....she does wear some 12 month stuff, but she has room to grow into them!

she sits up all by her self now! like a champ!

she still sleeps pretty well. bedtime is usually between 8-9pm and she will sleep until 630-8AM

she takes 3 naps a day (morning, afternoon, and a shorter evening one)

these past few weeks shes been fussing in the middle of the night and occasionally will wake up, she just needs to be loved on for a few minutes or a small snack and goes back to sleep

she has enough hair that she can wear a bow in her hair now...she doesnt need the head band anymore if she doesnt want it!

while she sits and plays, she will bounce up and down on her hiney

we are still breastfeeding! and she eats food 3 times a day. i am still making her baby food...and she pretty much has liked everything (but carrots!). some of her favorite foods are sweet potatoes, squash, peas, pears, apples, and bananas!

she is a great eater! and has gotten to the point where we cant spoon it into her mouth fast enough! (yippee)...she looks like a little bird sitting there with her mouth open waiting for the next bite!

she has two teeth!

she is getting better at picking up her puffs and getting them up to and into her mouth! we all get so excited when she does, lots of clapping and "yeaaa!" she also is very proud!

we have been giving her a sippy cup with water, she is starting to get the hang of it....but she really just like to play with it, bang it around, and chew on the bottom of it@

she is a very happy baby!

always smiling and laughing!

she is a talker! oh boy is she a talker!

she can say "mamamama", "dadadada", and "babababa" and a ton of "finley talk"

she also make a loud siren noise all the time!

she will reach her arms up to you when she wants to be picked up

and will lean into your face to give "kisses"

she loves her daddy!

they have a ton of fun together!

but she also loves her mama!

every time i walk out of the room she will fuss...

i know, i know....she wont love me like this forever!

its so nice to be loved this much though!!!

shes like a little monkey, she uses her feet for everything!

to pick stuff up, to grab a toy that may be out of arms reach!

she hates socks on her feet and pulls them off the minute i put them on her!

we also have had shoes on her a few times.....she pulls them off too! and chews on them

she still roll everywhere, doesnt crawl....

but, look at her here! looks like she will be crawling in no time at all!

she will bring her knees up under her and sort of rock/bounce

she been not feeling well the last 2 weeks...or trying to get more teeth

shes been fussing through the night and occasionally waking up (she usually sleeps through the night), she has a super runny nose, and has been in poop overdrive (which has lead to a very red tushy)...no fever though!

i just hopes she hurries up and gets feeling better, its so sad to see her sad!
